What this tool is
This application is a private automation tool used by Brent Tauro to manage his own YouTube channel. It is not offered as a service to the public and has no other users.
What it accesses
It uses the YouTube Data API v3 to read and update information on YouTube channels that Brent Tauro owns and has explicitly authorised. That means channel details (name, description, links) and video details (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails).
What it stores
When authorisation is granted, Google issues an OAuth refresh token. That token is stored locally on Brent Tauro's own computer and is never transmitted to any third party.
What it does not do
It does not collect, store or process data belonging to any other person. It does not use YouTube data for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models. It does not share data with third parties.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which invalidates the stored token. Any local token files can then be deleted.
Limited Use
This application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
